What we do
The Energy Centre contributes to New Zealand’s clean energy and energy-efficiency goals by:
- Facilitating informed dialogue on pressing energy issues by offering the University of Auckland Business School as a trusted, neutral platform for engagement between policymakers, researchers, and industry experts.
- Conducting rigorous research and policy analysis on energy-related challenges that are critical to New Zealand’s future.
- Sharing insights and recommendations with government agencies—both local and central—as well as with industry stakeholders and academic communities.
- Delivering energy-focused education that prepares future leaders for roles in government, business, and academia.
